It’s time to step into the TARDIS once more! Ncuti Gatwa is taking his Doctor Who tenure to the next level with the release of Doctor Who Season 14. (For purists, it’s technically Doctor Who Season 40, but who’s counting?)

Doctor Who Season 14 will be an eight-episode run of new adventures for our favorite Time Lord and his new companion, Ruby Sunday. The new Doctor‘s debut season offers talking babies and The Beatles, so you won’t want to miss an episode of the iconic sci-fi series.

The newest Doctor Who episode, ‘Dot and Bubble’, is set to arrive very soon. But when exactly is it going to land, and how can you watch the rest of this season? Here’s what you need to know.

When is Doctor Who Season 14 Episode 5 out in the UK?

In the UK, Doctor Who Season 14 Episode 5, ‘Dot and Bubble’, will be released on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at midnight on BBC iPlayer for UK viewers.

The episode then airs at 6:50pm BST on BBC One the same day, meaning you can catch the episode on the streaming service before it arrives on the BBC channel later that evening.

When is Doctor Who Season 14 Episode 5 out in the US?

In the US, Episode 5, ‘Dot and Bubble’, will arrive on Friday, May 31 at 7:00 p.m. ET on Disney+, meaning everyone can watch at the same time.

This is the first ever Doctor Who season to launch on Disney+ and have a simultaneous international release.

The synopsis for the new episode is as follows: “The world of Finetime seems happy and harmonious. But an awful terror is preying on the citizens. Can the Doctor and Ruby make them see the truth before it’s too late?”

Will Doctor Who Season 14 release weekly?

New episodes of Doctor Who Season 14 will arrive every Saturday in the UK and every Friday in the US, following the two-episode premiere which started on May 11.

This will continue until the season finale, ‘Empire of Death’, on June 22, 2024.
