Current Genshin Impact region

The current Genshin Impact region is Fontaine. This feudal landscape was added as part of the game’s 4.0 update, which introduced a number of notable characters to the ever-growing roster. Fontaine is governed by the fraud Hydro Archon Furina.

 Fontaine’s landscape is filled with underwater exploration thanks to the game introducing diving and Pneuma-Ousia mechanics. The version 4.0 update also added new bosses, artifact sets, and Battle Pass weapons. 

Next Genshin Impact region: Natlan

The next Genshin Impact region to release is Natlan. This location is known for its safari-like landscapes and interesting creatures. Genshin Impact revealed the first official look at Natlan during the version 4.7 livestream. 

The upcoming region will be released alongside the version 5.0 update, which will launch sometime in August 2024.
