Helldivers 2 has remained extremely popular since it launched but what does the game’s current player count look like?

Arrowhead Game Studios’ sequel to Helldivers, Helldivers 2, has become a massive hit since it launched in February 2024 with new and veteran players of the franchise currently logging in every day to fight back the hostile factions and deadly enemies threatening Superearth.

According to SteamDB, the peak player count for Helldivers 2 as of April 8, 2024, is 348,188, and while this is a significant drop compared to the all-time player peak of 458,709 that was reached in March 2024, there’s clearly still a massive fanbase for the Arrowhead Studios sequel with fans logging in daily to help liberate Superearth.

It’s worth noting, however, that this player count doesn’t factor in those on PlayStation, only Steam. As a concurrent launch across PS5 and PC, the first in Sony history, there’s every chance just as many, if not more, are dropping into combat on PS5 as well.

Though beyond sales figures, player data is rarely publicized on that end, so we may never know for certain what the total combined player count peak truly is for Helldivers 2.
