Upcoming PS5 exclusives
2023 was a big year for Sony with games including Horizon Forbidden West, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 releasing exclusively for PS5, and 2024 looks to be just as big for the current-gen console.

Stellar Blade is a highly anticipated hack-and-slash title from Korean developer Shift Up. Previously called Project Eve, this action-packed game will be making its way exclusively to the PS5 in Apil 2024. Throughout Stellar Blade, you’ll take control of the protagonist Eve, as she navigates a post-apolytic world and has to defend herself against the hostile mutant-like foes known as NA:tives.
It’s a game that looks to draw influence from a variety of titles including the Souls series, and the Bayonetta franchise.

Rise of the Ronin is an action RPG set in 1863 Japan by developers Team Ninja. Coming from the team behind popular Soulslike titles like Noah, and Wo Long: Fallan Dynasty, there are some challenging combat encounters to battle through.
With a vibrant open world to explore, bonds to cultivate with various allies, and an emphasis on player choice, ROTR offers an immersive experience where your every choice can impact those around you.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is continues Cloud and the gang’s journey and marks the second installment in the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy.
While the first installment in the Remake series, centered almost entirely on the Midgar section from the original 1997 game, Rebirth sees the world open up as Cloud and friends travel across the world in an epic quest to stop Shinra and Sephiroth.
Eternights

Heavily inspired by the Persona franchise, Enternights is a new indie JRPG that combines exciting action-based combat with dating simulator gameplay. Throughout your time in the game, you’ll be exploring dungeons, fighting supernatural enemies in hack n slash battles, and building your relationships with your companions.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

While Marvel’s Spider-Man (2018) and its Miles Morales-based follow-up set a new Spiderverse in motion, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has expanded it in multiple ways. You’ve got a bigger New York City to explore, plenty of villains to fight, and two spider-men to play as in Peter Parker and Miles Morales.

Despite this installment being the 16th Final Fantasy game, this franchise never seems to dwindle or falter in its successes. Final Fantasy constantly impresses and from the looks of it, Final Fantasy 16 will be no different.
Featuring classic characters, the style many know and love, and equally fantastic weapons, this will be a game everyone should try out, even if it is only a timed exclusive.
Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores

Burning Shores is the DLC expansion to Horizon Forbidden West that sees Aloy travel to Los Angeles where she’ll meet new allies, battle more dangerous machines, and experience a gripping adventure. For fans of the previous Horizon installments, Burning Shores is a must-play.
God of War: Ragnarok (Also available on PS4)
Kratos’ 2018 adventure remains one of PlayStation 4’s best, and his 2022 return has provided more of the same – with gorgeous visuals, a story steeped in Norse mythology, and Atreus looking much more grown-up.
This time around, our duo of deities is looking for Tyr, and their search will see them clash with foes new and old.
